The Bengals effort to improve their offense will have to continue on Sunday, October 19, 2008 against the Steelers without starting quarterback Carson Palmer. The Bengals were ranked 31st in total offense (72.2) and 26th in pass offense (155.7) prior to the Monday night between the Browns and Giants. The Bengals were ranked 29th in the scoring (14.67), and two of their nine touchdowns have been scored by the defense.
